Nonprofit Video Production Spotlight - Sisters of the Road

As a Portland production company we feel it’s important to support our local community by giving back when we can. That’s why we started our Spotlight program in 2016, where we donate a full service video production to one local organization per year. Our hope is that by providing a nonprofit video we will be able to uplift the organizations in Portland who otherwise may not be able to access video marketing.

The One Hundred Seconds Spotlight 2016 recipient was Sisters of the Road, a safe community space centered around food justice, where citizens can gain job training and share low cost nutritional meals straight from their garden.

During our production we felt the power of relationships between all those who visit, work, and volunteer with the organization. We learned how food justice is about so much more than access to healthy food and helped them communicate that to the public. Sisters of the Road continues to empower our community by giving them access to and ownership of their food systems.
